He put me at ease from the beginning and I was able to relax on the first day. I recommend brian highly to anybody who wants to start diving or improving on their diving skills. My brother and I came to Emerald Diving Ireland with absolutely no diving experience and did our Open Water certification with Brian. He was an amazing instructor and really patient. He always put safety first and made sure we understood everything before moving on. He encouraged us to ask questions whenever we were unsure, which made us feel much more confident in the water. The whole team was extremely friendly and welcoming, and thanks to Brian we both got certified and had an incredible experience. I cannot recommend them enough. I had so many questions over the phone and texts with Brian, to which he responded quickly and in a very kindly, beginner-friendly manner. None of my (silly) beginner questions were left unanswered. The information given was spot on. I have now completed my first lesson with Heather showing us the basic skills and Patrick guiding us on our first swim around the pool. All divers: staff and other members were incredibly friendly and cheerful and really helpful. Brian seems very knowledgeable on equipment and has pointed me in the right direction in terms of what to get now as a beginner and stuff to leave for future. I recently completed my Advanced Open Water with Emerald Diving and loved it. Brian was very knowledgable, patient and helped with gaining more confidence underwater I’d highly recommend this dive centre to anyone looking to take their diving skills to the next level!
